Launched last year, as reported in VINE & BUBBLE, the Lanson Private Collection marked a very different approach for the historic Champagne Maison, offering collectors the opportunity to establish their own private cellar within Lanson’s centuries-old chalk cellars in Reims.
Now, the first images have been released of the exclusive private salon, where members can enjoy intimate tastings and privileged access to the Maison.
The concept allows collectors to build their own collection of Lanson’s finest vintages, including rare back vintages and future releases en primeur, with each collection carefully stored and managed by the Maison under optimal ageing conditions.
Membership also includes exclusive allocations, private events and a dedicated concierge service offering bespoke experiences throughout Champagne.
With a minimum initial investment of €15,000 and 150 bottles, the initiative represents an interesting evolution in how Champagne Houses engage directly with collectors, extending the relationship well beyond the purchase of wine.
