Perrier-Jouët has unveiled three new vintages: Belle Epoque 2015, Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs 2014 and Belle Epoque Rosé 2014.
Maison Perrier-Jouët, has released three new vintages: Belle Epoque 2015, Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs 2014, and Belle Epoque Rosé 2014. The iconic cuvées showcase the House’s commitment to artistry and excellence.
The first Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque cuvée appeared in 1964 and became instantly recognisable throughout the world for the unique artwork displayed on each bottle. Each one is adorned with a graceful spray of Japanese white anemones created specifically for Maison Perrier-Jouët by Art Nouveau master Emile Gallé in 1902.
The three champagnes reveal the rich nuances of chardonnay; the brand’s signature grape variety, which is sometimes delicate or vibrant but always elegant.
The Belle Epoque 2015 revels the typicity of the year. It's a structured champagne, with decidedly broader shoulders that the 2014 vintage, and showcases delicate aromas of white flowers, like linden and hawthorn, followed by fruity notes of white peach and pink grapefruit, as well as complex layers of spice including nutmeg, ginger, and cumin. It makes for a rich and harmonious palate with floral, fruity, and spiced nuances that unfold with finesse.
Made from 100% chardonnay, the Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs 2014, delivers on the year's silky seductiveness. It's delicately balanced with pale gold hues and abundant aromas of white flowers like magnolia, acacia, and hints of almond and ginger.
Finally, the Belle Epoque Rosé 2014 offers fresh aromas of pomegranate, raspberry, and blackcurrant, along with floral notes of orange blossom and elderberry. The palate reveals the refined work of autolysis with its generous and textured mouthfeel, accompanied by quince, raspberry, and soft spices like cumin and liquorice. Crafted from a blend of chardonnay and pinot noir, it pairs beautifully with dishes such as tuna or duck breast.
Founded in 1811, Maison Perrier-Jouët has built a legacy on crafting elegant, floral champagnes and has rooted in a deep connection to nature and sustainability. Each new release in the prestigious Belle Epoque collection reflects this dedication to terroir, tradition, and timeless innovation.
The Blanc de Blanc 2014 comes in a sustainable wooden gift box adorned with the signature Perrier-Jouët Japanese anemone, while the Belle Epoque Rosé 2014 and Belle Epoque 2015 is presented in a cocoon gift box. Made from paper pulp and vine cuttings, the Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Cocoon is designed to enhance the bottle while offering an organic, natural feel. Incredibly lightweight and streamlined in style, it was crafted using as few resources as possible.
The three new champagnes were launched in Australia at a VIP dinner held at Café Sydney, hosted by Brand Ambassador, Andrea Giraud.
Champagnes are now available at selected fine wine retailers across Australia.
