Louis Roederer Collection 242 Launch Dinner Rockpool - Perth, August 2021

About the Event

Guests were invited to celebrate the launch of Louis Roederer's new champagne, Collection 242 in Perth, across a meticulously crafted six-course menu by award-winning Rockpool Bar & Grill.

Each course was expertly paired with five Louis Roederer cuvées, hosted by Sara Underdown (Publisher of VINE & BUBBLE Magazine & Wine Writer for Delicious Magazine) and Anja Lewis (Wine Educator and Consultant at Canny Grapes).

We were privileged to showcase a bellwether moment for Louis Roederer, with the launch of a new multi-vintage, Collection 242, which replaces Brut Premier.

The line-up included:

Course 1: New release Louis Roederer Collection 242 - Sydney Rock oysters with Louis Roederer granita.

Course 2: Louis Roederer Blanc de Blancs Vintage 2013 – Crab and almond tart with chervil.

Course 3: Louis Roederer Vintage 2013 - Prawn and saffron agnolotti with pistachios, orange and marjoram.

Course 4: Louis Roederer Vintage Rosé 2014 - Roasted wagin duck and wood roasted beetroots.

Course 5: Louis Roederer Cristal Vintage 2013 – West Australian marron with clams, Serano ham and champagne butter sauce.

Course 6: Boll & Cie Ratafia de Champagne 1996 - Halls suzette double cream, honeycomb, quince and lavosh.
