Inspired by a Champagne tradition

The name Le Cochelet comes from the traditional celebration held at the end of the grape harvest in Champagne - a convivial occasion that brings people together after the intensity of the season.

That same spirit of sharing inspired these distinctive recycled champagne bottle serving boards, designed for aperitifs, cheese, charcuterie and other small bites shared around the table.

Crafted in France by a Master Glassmaker

Creating Le Cochelet requires considerably more than simply melting a bottle.

Developed in collaboration with Didier Quentin, Meilleur Ouvrier de France and Master Glassmaker, each board is produced using a carefully researched firing process specifically designed for champagne bottles.

Different bottle sizes and glass colours require their own precise seven-stage temperature curve. The kiln reaches temperatures of up to 900°C, with approximately 24 hours required for the bottle to slowly collapse upon itself without external pressure.

The result retains the identity and character of the original bottle while transforming it into an elegant, functional piece of glassware.

Individually finished

The signature logo is applied by hand using an innovative transfer-printing technique, creating a discreet and durable finish that is dishwasher safe.

Because every champagne bottle responds differently during firing, no two Le Cochelet boards are exactly alike. Variations in colour, texture and the degree of matte or gloss finish are natural characteristics of the process and make each piece unique.

The 150cl Magnum Le Cochelet is presented in its own gift packaging, designed by an artist from Reims and printed in the Ardennes, France making it an exceptional gift for champagne lovers, wine enthusiasts, hosts and collectors.
